BY CAR:<\/p>

For those coming from the North (Florence) A1 motorway exit Valdichiana, at the roundabout take the freeway towards Perugia, take the Foiano della Chiana exit, turn right and take the direction to “Chianacce” after 300 m turn right. Continue for about 11 km along the Strada Provinciale delle Chianacce, until you reach an intersection. Continue straight towards Pozzuolo along via Fornace for about 4 km, at the end of the road turn right and continue for about 1 km on Strada Regionale 454. Turn right, you will find signs for \u201cRiserva Naturale Lago di Montepulciano\u201d. Continue along the dirt road and part of the asphalted road (curve included) always following the Lago di Montepulciano Nature Reserve sign for 850m, then turn left and continue for about 700m and turn slightly right to arrive at the visitor center car park.<\/p>

For those coming from the South (Rome) A1 Motorway exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, continue for Chiusi, Before Chiusi take the state road No. 326 for Montepulciano. After about 10 km you will find the Tre Berte sign, follow the signs for the Montepulciano Lake Nature Reserve, take the dirt road for about 1.4 km, take the road on the right with the indication “Montepilciano Lake Nature Reserve”, continue for about 700 m and turn slightly right to get to the parking lot of the visitor center ..<\/p>
