Visitor Center, opening calendar for March 2026

Starting Saturday, March 7th, the Visitor Center of the Lake Montepulciano Regional Nature Reserve will reopen to the public, a reference point for discovering one of the most evocative natural environments in Valdichiana Senese

With the arrival of spring, opportunities to learn more about the protected area’s biodiversity, participate in environmental education activities, and organize excursions through reed beds, trails, and wildlife observation points return.

The opening days for the month of March are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with continuous hours from 9:00 to 19:00.

The Center is the ideal place to begin your visit to the reserve: here you can receive information on the routes, discover the animal and plant species present in the area, and delve deeper into the history and characteristics of the lake’s ecosystem.

The reopening marks the beginning of the spring season in the reserve, a particularly interesting time for birdwatching and nature walks. The lake and its wetlands are home to numerous bird species, making the area a popular destination for enthusiasts and visitors.
